Sony Ericsson pushing updates for Xperia Arc, Acro in Japan; adds PlayStation Certification

Xperia Play is now the longer the only PlayStation certified Android smartphone, at least in Japan. Sony Ericsson has started rolling out an over the air update starting today Arc users in the country, which will enable the PlayStation Certification meaning you will have the access and compatibility to 100s of games that were only available on Play till today. Xiaomi aka MIUI phone sees over 100,000 preorders on the first day

Wow, that is indeed a lot for a startup making Android smartphones with an otherwise known aftermarket firmware at its heart. To put things in perspective, Chinese startup Xiaomi starting taking pre-orders for its recently announced Xiomi Phone today and the tally is already over 100,000.
