LG has released a teaser video showing a rounded-design smartwatch. There has been lot of rumours and leaks that LG is going to unveil a new wearable device at IFA 2014 and now the teaser video confirms it.
The teaser has been released over LG’s global YouTube channel shows the unlike the company’s G Watch, the upcoming wearable with a round face and will be competing with Moto 360 smartwatch. No details about available at this point but the overall features of the device will most likely be same as other Android Wear products.
LG is not the only company coming with a wearable at IFA, Asus and Motorola are also going to launch their wearable devices during the trade fair.
Huawei, the Chinese telecommunication equipment maker, is all set to unveil its new Ascend Mate series smartphone during the upcoming IFA trade fair in Berlin. As per an invite given to the Chinese tech media, the smartphone will be named as Ascend Mate 7 and it will be launched on September 4.
Huawei is also sharing a teaser which points towards a smartphone with fingerprint sensor and it is very likely that Ascend Mate 7 is going to be that smartphone with fingerprint sensor.
There is no official confirmation about tech specs, however as per the rumours, the new device will be released in two variants, one with QHD (2560x1440p) display and other with FHD (1920x1080p) display. It will have a 6-inch display, Huawei’s Kirin 920 octa-core processor, Android 4.4 (KitKat), 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. The phone will also have 3GB of RAM in QHD version and 2GB of RAM in FHD version.
Connectivity-wise, both the Ascend Mate 7 variants should offer Bluetooth 4.0, 4GLTE, Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. Dual SIM-card support is also not ruled out.
