Sharp has introduced a seven inch Honeycomb tablet with WiMax connectivity in japan today. Company also announced that it has no plans to abandon its tablet business and will continue to work on Galapagos series.
Sharp has launched Galapagos EB-A71GJ-B tablet and it will be available from December 9 in the market. Featuring Android 3.2, 7 inch display, dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory, this tablet comes with pre-installed e-book store, and several other applications.
Company has priced it 59,800 yen without contract or it can be purchased with a two year contract from UQ for 4,800 yen with a monthly subscription fee of 5,500 yen.
