HTC unveils Desire 510 smartphone with 4G connectivity

HTC Desire 510HTC has announced its new Desire 510 smartphone with LTE connectivity today. The smartphone offers incredible build quality and features, originally available in previous HTC models.

The smartphone comes with a 4.7 inch FWVGA display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. As per the HTC, the smartphone is an all-round multimedia powerhouse. “Owning the latest and greatest technology shouldn’t be reserved for those with the highest budgets,” says Peter Chou, CEO of HTC.

“People today should expect their smartphones to double as mobile entertainment hubs. This means ensuring that they’re fully loaded with the latest movies, TV shows and albums, by taking advantage of the super-fast network speeds available. The HTC Desire 510 does this and more, making it the perfect mobile media device,” Chou added.

Coming to the specifications, the phone runs on Android 4.4 with HTC sense and packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory with an option to expand up to 128GB via microSD card, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera and 2100mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity, it comes with usual set of connectivity options. The HTC Desire 510 will be available in Terra White and Meridian Grey colours.

The HTC Desire 510 will be released in selected regions in Europe,  Asia and through select carriers in the US. The company has not revealed the price of smartphone yet, but it should be affordable.

LG announces G3 Stylus smartphone ahead of IFA 2014

LG-G3-StylusLG has officially announced its G3 Stylus smartphone. The smartphone comes with a stylus pen and sports mid-range specifications.

The LG G3 Stylus will be available in Black, White and Gold colours and go on sale starting with Brazil in September followed by Asian, Middle East, African and CIS countries.  Price and other details will be revealed during the local launch.

“With its exceptional hardware and exceptional price that can’t be beat, the LG G3 Stylus is in a category all by itself,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.

“The LG G3 Stylus is the perfect tool for consumers who don’t want to be bogged down carrying a laptop, tablet and smartphone. It gets things done and lets you have fun while doing without having to compromise on quality, style or user experience,” Park added.

Coming to specifications, it runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. In addition, the phone packs a 5.5-inch qHD display, a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory with an option to expand via microSD card and 3000mAh battery (removable).
