Lenovo launches LePad S2005 in China, sports 5-inch display, Android 2.3.5

Lenovo has made the recently leaked 5 inch tablet/smartphone hybrid official today as LePad S2005 (s2-05). As expected it will make its initial debut in China day after tomorrow, with no company statement on availability elsewhere. Games now available in Android Market for Korean users

After almost one and a half years, Android games are finally returning in Android Market for users in Korea. Google today announced via the Android Developers blog that Android users in Korea will have access to all the games in Android Market right away and they will be able to use direct carrier billing for paid titles. Sony Ericsson pushing updates for Xperia Arc, Acro in Japan; adds PlayStation Certification

Xperia Play is now the longer the only PlayStation certified Android smartphone, at least in Japan. Sony Ericsson has started rolling out an over the air update starting today Arc users in the country, which will enable the PlayStation Certification meaning you will have the access and compatibility to 100s of games that were only available on Play till today. Xiaomi aka MIUI phone sees over 100,000 preorders on the first day

Wow, that is indeed a lot for a startup making Android smartphones with an otherwise known aftermarket firmware at its heart.
