NTT Docomo has launched two Disney branded smartphones on its network in Japan yesterday. Targeted to women and families with small children, these smartphones comes with heavily customized builds of Android 2.3
Dubbed as F-08D and P-05D, these have been manufactured by Fujistu and Panasonic respectively.
Panasonic P-05D: Android 2.3, 4.3-inch 720p OLED screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 13.1MP camera. March 31 (launch)
Fujitsu F-08D: Android 2.3 4.3-inch 960×540 display, 8MP camera and 1GHz processor. February 17 (Pre-orders start), Feb-end (launch)
Both phones feature the usual Japan-specific features infrared, one-seg TV and o-saifu keitai NFC. Smartphone buyers will be able to access the Disney app market and download special apps and games for the smartphones, including Disney cinema.
